Dogmore, Catmore, Pottermore

Me están reclamando que escriba, estoy empezando a sentir la presión de los escritores cuando la editorial les impone una fecha, la diferencia es que no me pagan, je! Pero lo hago con gusto, asi que alla vamos...
Hablando de presiones a la hora de escribir, quién habrá sufrido más que J.K. Rowling? Harry Potter tiene fans alrededor del mundo entero y de todas las edades, películas y hasta un nuevo site interactivo en internet.
They are some followers who are reclaming more writting, I start to feel the presure that editorials impose over their writters, closing dates and so on. Big difference is that I´m not paid at all! Anyway, I love it, so I´m coming! 
Talking about writting pressures J.K.Rowlng suffers that for sure, granted! Harry Potter´s fans are everywhere around the world, and ageless, counting movies and a new internet site.


Pero los seguidores de la saga queremos más, más es otro libro, a pesar del desembarco de Pottermore. Obviamente la franja más amplia de seguidores son los adolescentes, ya que cumplieron uno de los propósitos de su escritora de crecer junto a los personajes favoritos. Sin duda, existen también muchísimos adultos entre los que me cuento, que leyeron los libros, quizá por casualidad, o por curiosidad, y todos se engancharon en un mundo de fantasía, irreal pero no tanto, que derrocha imaginación y bien escrito por cierto.
Saga followers want more than that, more meaning another book, besides Pottermor launching. Of course teenagers are the main fans, because they grew up with the characters, as Rowling wanted. But there is a vast quantity of adult readers, maybe just for curiosity or casuality, and they get hooked with that fantasy land, irreal but not so much, tons of imagination and well written by the way.


Justamente Pottermore, me trajo hoy a mi blog. Ayer me llegó la notificación de que ya era una de las privilegiadas de entrar a la plataforma Beta y empezar a usarla antes del estreno oficial en Octubre. Esta mañana fue lo primero que me fije al encender la compu, pero imposible!! Mucha demanda, me quedé con las ganas de ver a que casa perteneceré o cual será mi varita mágica. Pero por sobre todo, las ganas de leer pequeñas anotaciones al margen hechas por J. K. Rowling que no aparecen en los libros.
Pottermor precisely is what bring me back to update my blog today. Yesterday I recived the confirmation e mail, that make me one of the privilages to try the Beta platform before the oficial launching. This morning was the first thing I checked, but nothing! Overwhelming demand, I keep wondering wich wand would I have or my house. But over that, I have to pospone my desire of reading all that notes that J.K: Rowling promised to introduce at Pottermore, that didn´t appear in the books.


El que se reconoce lector sabe que esa sed y avidez de lectura te lleva a buscar de la manera más impensada algo que tener entre manos para caer de cabeza en mundos recreados por un escritor y vividos por el lector. Asi que queridos amigos, hoy no tengo libro nuevo en la mesita de luz, y tampoco novedades de Harry Potter. Pero si tengo a mis amados perros y gatos, y como de eso les cuento en este blog, voy a unir ambos en uno para armar mi propia novela. Es fácil, tengo varios candidatos que quieren auditar...
Readers kow that when you really need a book, you have a power inside that the only thing you wish is something to read, a world written by a writter that make the reader plounge inside.
So, said that, dear friends, I don´t have a new book in my night table, and any news from Harry either. But what I have is my beloved dogs and cats, and that´s the subject of my blog, so I´m going to link both in my own story. It´s easy, many candidates for auditions...


La asociación más graciosa es la que hace mi hija (obviamente fan de aquellas) con nuestra gata Agatha, ya les comenté que es un poco...loca? rara? y que siempre aparece de la nada y clava la mirada de una manera muy particular, como si viera más allá. Su papel caería en representar a la maestra de adivinación Sybill Trelawney, ojos verdes inmensos, una figura etérea, que no es mala, pero da escalofríos.
My daughter (obviously fan number one) made the most funny asociation with our cat Agatha, I already told youthat she is a bit...weird? freak? she always materialized from nowhere and stares in a particular way, seems that she can see with an interior eye. She would be an excellent Sybill Trelawney, the adivination teacher, huge green eyes, an ethereal figure, she isn´t bad bur gives you the chills.


Siguiendo con los gatos, Salem, que siempre está alerta a las novedades, con facilidad se da cuenta cuando algo cambia, seria, distante a veces, sería una buena profesora McGonagall. Así como ella es el primer personaje en aparecer en el libro de Harry Potter, Salem también es la primera en meter la nariz para ver que estoy haciendo entre los rosales o que estoy cocinando. Y no se equivoquen, no es alguien a quien se pueda desafiar, es estricta también.
Going along cats, we have Salem, who is always alert from something diferent, she can tell at a sec if something has change, serious, distant sometimes, for sure proffsor MacGonagall. As she is the first character appearing at HP books, Salem is always the first one poking the nose between my gardening or cooking. And don´t foul yourself, you can snoot around her, because she can be sever too.


Si seguimos con los gatos nuestro enfermero y sanador Júpiter se corresponde con Madame Pomfrey. No creo que a el le guste saber que su papel es de una mujer...Pero si Dustin Hoffman pudo con Tootsie, por qué no nuestro Jups? Enfermero dedicado por entero al enfermo, espanta a las visitas para que no molesten, por suerte no nos da brevajes extraños!
Our nurse is Jupiter, so that is even with Madame Pomfrey. I don´t think he´s going to like being a female...But Dustin Hoffman made an excellent Tootsie, so, why he can´t? He is a loving nurse, chasing away visits for not disturbing, luckily enough he doesn´t make strange medicines!


Luna Lovegood es de Ursula, toda suya, volátil, divertída, muy inteligente, curiosa, al mismo tiempo tranquila y un poco tímida. Vive en un mundo propio donde es feliz, quizá un poco excéntrica con sus gustos, como dormir dentro del bidet, pero siempre dispuesta a seguirme por la casa para hacerme compañía.
Luna Lovegood is Ursula without doubt, volatil, funny, very clever, courious, pacific at the same time, a little bit shy. She lives in her own world, where she is extremely happy, a little bit excentric with her tastes, like sleeping inside the sink, but always willing to follow me around the house.


A Obama, nuestro Terranova el papel de Hagrid le cae como anillo al dedo (A que es un lindo nombre para un perro de esta raza) Enorme, peludo, torpe y un poco bobeta, pero un buenazo de aquellos, leal sin duda y también sabe ser feliz con poco. No tiene cabaña pero si una casita de perro, a falta de bosque buenas son las enredaderas y los arbustos de su dominio. Y sus platos son tan gigantes como él. En algún lado leí que a los Terranovas no bastaba con ponerles un plato de agua, había que poner un balde!! Totalmente cierto y compatible con las tazas gigantes de su peludo personaje.
For Obama, our Newfoundland, is Hagrid (and make sa  nice name for a Newfie, doesn´t??) Huge, hairy, clumsy, and a little bit silly, but so good, loyalty without doubt, and he knows how to feel happy with less. He doesn´t has a log cabin buta doggy house, and we don´t have a forest for him either, but lots of bushes and plants. Bowls for feeding are in scale. Somewhere I rodethat Newfs needs buckets of water instead of a traditional water bowl, so true and compatible with giant tea cups for Hagrid.



Eloise es una Hermione en pinta, inteligentísima, mandona, un poco prepotente, siempre consigue lo que quiere. Buena amiga, es la que está disponible para jugar siempre y cuando no tenga que vigilar el jardín, el trabajo siempre primero y como si esto fuera poco, rulos rebeldes por todos lados.
Eloise is the perfect Hermione, brilliant, bossy, al little bit overbearing, she always have what she wants. Good friend, always ready for play if she doesn´t have to patrol the garden. Always work first. And at least but not last, rebel curls everywhere.


Dakota es tan, pero tan buenota, ingenua y compañera que le toca actuar de Neville Longbottom, si, ya se de nuevo género distinto, pero ella sabrá perdonarlo, es que es tan buena...Comparte su amor por las plantas, le encanta "podar" rosales, robar limones para estudiarlos ( siiii...seguro....) o lo mejor de todo, probar que es más efectivo para la alergia, si las hojas o las ramas de la Lantana.
Dakota is so good, so so good, naive and good fellow that she has to act as Neville Longbottom, yes I know misleading genre, but I´m sure she will forgive me, is because she is soooo goood...She shares the plants loves, she handle roses, steal lemons for studying purpose (yeah...) And best of alll experimenting herself with Lantana, working if it is the leaaves or the steams that make the worst rushes.

Hasta tenemos algunas réplicas de escenarios en casa, por ejemplo el sauce boxeador es un sauce eléctrico con el que todos luchamos al bajar del auto. Tenemos al cuartito de HP justo debajo de la escalera, con arañas igual a l real. Y quién no conoce mi Hospital San Mungus??? Siiiii, el garage, fantástico lugar de reahbilitación. Y sin mandarme la parte, también hay festines para celebrar acontecimientos en casa. No, los elfos no cocinan lamentablemente, eso me toca a mi.
We even has many scenario replicas at home. For example the Sprouting Willow. It´s an ELectric Willow that we need to fight with eevery since we park our car near. We have Harry Potter bedroom under the stairs, with spiders of course, just as the real one. ANd who doesn´t know yet my Saint Mungus Hospital??? Yesss, that´s my garage, a perfect rehab place. And we also have ceremony banquets now and then. And no, elfs doesn´t cook sadly, I´m in charge.


¿Qué quién sería Harry Potter? Obvio, Kieran! Siempre el rol protagónico se reserva para el actor más experimentado, en eso es un experto. Además es lindo!
