Había Una Vez - Once Upon a Time

Había una vez una princesita noruega, como era la más chiquita de sus hermanitos en el palacio la llamaban "Porotita", para acortar su nombre real "Blind´s Love Alexis Munday". Fue nombrada así en honor a los Angeles de Charlie, sus hermanas recibieron el mismo tratamiento real, y el único varón fue bautizado "John Bosley" (hoy en día se lo conoce como "Gandalf").
Once upon a time was a little norway princess In the palace where she borned she was called Little Bean as she was the tiniest baby of the litter, and for shortening her real name "Blind´s Love Alexis Munday". She was called that way becaus of Charlie´s Angel, her two other sisters recieved the same royalty name, and the only boy was called John Bosley (Known as Gandalf nowadays)


A medida que los principitos fueron creciendo partieron a distintos lugares del reino. El destino quiso que una de sus primas reales fuera casi vecina, y asi desde ese condado recomendaron nuestro hogar para ella. Un Lunes cualquiera fui a recogerla, no muy convencida de ser trasladada aunque fuera en carroza real; protestó un poco, solo un poco, por que su excepcional carácter de años de cultivo de la templanza y el buen humor hicieron su trabajo.
A soon as the pricess were growing they left to different places of the kingdom. Destiny made that one of her royal cousins lived almost as our neighbor, so that is that from that county recomended our home for her. One Monday I went to pick her. She wasn´t very eager about that, doesn´t matter that the trip was in a royal carriage; she fussed a bit, only a bit, because the excepcinal good temper and disposition of her linage made the difference.


Apenas llegada la trasladamos a su nueva alcoba y la dejamos descansar dandole todo el trato que su alcurnia merece. De a poco fue conociendo al rey Kieran, al emperador Júpiter a las meninas Dakota y Eloise y a las princesas Salem y Selena. Tal cual como era de esperarse se adaptó a su nueva vida y empezó a disfrutar haciendose íntima amiga de la niña Dakota y desafiando la tiranía de Júpiter. Es que ella lo tenía claro, la realeza duerme cómoda, en una cama grande como la gente.
As soon as she arrived we showed her new bedchamber and left her rest, giving the treatment of noble birth she deserved. One at a time she was introduced to King Kieran, Emperor Jupiter, Meninas Dakota and Eloise, and Princess Salem and Selena. As we hoped she adjusted to her new life pretty quickly and enjoyed nowasays being the best friend of Dakota and moking Jupiter tirany. She has something really clear, royalty sleep comfortable, in a big human bed, that is!


Su alteza real llegó con 6 meses a nuestras vidas, hoy ya tiene 9 meses, su manto creció y creció, su cola es una boa de plumas que mueve con orgullo altanero. Su abrigada piel hace que busque lugares fríos para descansar aunque un poco insólitos para su linaje, como el bidet o el lavatorio, pero podríamos decir que se debe a su pensar moderno o a un toque de extravagancia que se le permite, por supuesto.
Her Royal Majesty arrived with six months old, nowadays is nine, her long hair growed and growed, her tail is like a big feather boa, and she move it with  arrogant pride. Her luxurious coat made her look for cold places to rest, this places are a bit odd for her linage, like the lavatory or bidet, but we could say she has a modern way of thinking, also she has an extravagant touch, that we obviously allowed.


Muy juguetona y compañera, es bien cierto que su dinastía se caracteriza por ser plácida y seguir a su amo a quien adoran por toda la casa. Bien vocal tiene todo un repertorio de maullidos que compiten mano a mano con los del siamés. El más destacado es el que utiliza para llamarme, suena a un trino de pajarito, y dejando por un ratito la familia real parece Tweety diciendo "creo haber visto un lindo gatito...dónde estás?" eso si, con inflexión delicada y suave.
Very charming and playful, it´s really true that her dinasty is always placid and loved to follow their master around. Very vocal, she had a long repertory of meows that made a rivaltry with the siames. The most loving one is a meow that sounds more like a chirp, she uses it for calling me and leaving at a side the royal family, sounds like Tweety saying "I did tee a puddy tat! Mum where are you?", but with a delicacy and soft voice.


Fue necesario con su mudanza buscarle un nuevo nombre a su alteza real, el original era demasiado largo para el trato diario, y su sobrenombre ya le quedaba chico. Asi consultados los oráculos empezamos a llamarla Ursula, nombre nórdico que hace honor a su raza y aporta un toque de "maldad" que todo gato tiene, aunque en ella no lo encontramos todavía.
With her moving we also looked for another name to her royal majesty, original was too long and the pet one too short...So we consulted the oracle and we called her Ursula, a nordic name that fitted well and also has a touch of wickedness in it, something we didn´t find in her yet.


Dicen que cuantos más nombre y ápodos le ponemos a una mascota más querida es...bien cierto, tengo que hacer un esfuerzo para no marearme ante tantas versiones. Y así queda presentada en sociedad nuestra última incorporación, Ursi o Ushi, pero solo si son familiares muy pero muy cercanos, de otra manera solo Ursula es aceptado.
It is said that the more names and pet names we gave to our pets, more beloved are, so true...but I really made an effort for not getting dizzy with so many versions. And that way is introduced in society our last incorporation, Ursi or Ushi, but only for close relatives, otherwise Ursula is fine.
