Esta es MI historia - This is MY story

Desde que llegué me di cuenta que esta no es una casa como cualquier otra. Bueno, quizá donde nací tampoco. O quizá soy yo, no soy una mascota más, soy única! Si, esa idea me gusta! Asi que en vez de que mi dueña cuente el cuento, lo voy a hacer yo. Esta es mi historia.
Since my arrival I´m pretty aware that this is not a common house like any other. Maybe, the place where I was born neither. Or may be it´s just me, I´m not another pet, I´m unique! Yeah, I love that idea! So instead of my owner telling the story, I´m going to be the storyteller. This is it.


Nací en un reino no muy lejano, un criadero de Shetland Sheepdogs, mi raza, llamado Elthom´s, el lugar de los Shelties más lindos, cuna de campeones. Mi papá se llama Houston (CH. Can. Am. Ur. Arg ROM Mystic´s Show Must Go On) a que se quedaron con la boca abierta tratando de deletrear todas esas siglas!! Es que él es muy importante, y vino desde Canadá! Mi mamá se llama Thumbelina (Wee Shetlanders Thumbelina) y es de Paraguay, aunque toda su familia también es canadiense.
I was borned in a not so far kingdom, a Shetland Sheepdog Kennel, my breed, called Elthom´s, the place of the most wonderful Shelties, crib of champions. My father is called Houston (CH.Can. Am. Ur. Arg. ROM Mystic´s Show Must Go On) I´ll bet they´re just chocking with all that letters!! Is because he´s so important, and made all the trip from Canada! My mother is called Thumbelina (Wee Shetlanders Thumbelina) She´s from Paraguya, although all her family came from Canada too.

Asi que para mí también buscaron un super nombre, Elthom´s Sleeping Beauty y me llaman Aurora. Obviamente que lo eligieron sin conocer mi personalidad, porque se equivocaron de medio a medio, ja! Pensaron que iba a ser la bella durmiente? No señor, a mi me gusta aprovechar el día, a las 5 AM ya estoy despierta lista para jugar, y ODIO la siesta. Para que dormir cuando hay tanto por hacer? Lo único que tengo de "dumiente" son los ojos, bien chicos y achinados como los de papá. Bella, si, eso no lo niego, soy super linda, el pelo blue de mami, la carucha de papá. Una linda combinación de sangre azul sin duda.
So that´s was why they pick a special name for me too, Elthom´s Sleeping Beauty and they called me Aurora. Obviously they choosed it without knowing a bit of my personality, they made a huge mistake, ha! They thought I was going to be a sleeping beauty? No sir, I loved to make my day, at 5 AM I´m fully awaked and ready for play, and I HATE nap. Why I have to sleep if I want to do so many things? The only thing of "sleeping" I really have are my eyes, small and almond shaped like daddy´s. Beauty, yes, I don´t denay that, I´m super pretty, the blue hair of mummy and dad´s special face. A nice blue blood mix I think.


Asi como a la Aurora del cuento la comprometieron con el Príncipe Felipe desde la cuna, a mi también me tocó un príncipe, pero no es mi estilo, definitivamente no es mi caballero de brillante armadura. Se llama Kieran. Todos dicen que se porta como un Lord inglés, y que Kieran esto y que Kieran lo otro y ya me hartó! A mi no me gusta compartir protagonismo. Más aburrido no puede ser! Siempre perfectito, no le gusta embarrarse ni correr al sol, si corro al lado suyo me reta, si voy cerca de mi nueva dueña también. Si quiero alejarme de Eloise y Dakota para investigar el jardín me ladra, si corro rápido también. Si juego a la mancha con los gatos se pone loco. Lo único que comparte conmigo es el plato del agua. Además me mira rarito y me ladra. Pero yo no me quedo atrás y le contesto, si vamos a ser pareja que se entere desde el vamos quién va a llevar los pantalones! Lo pistivo que veo al respecto es que los dos ladramos bastante bien. Digo que podríamos ser una pareja famosa de cantantes de ópera. Por ejemplo yo sería la estrella de las mezzo soprano y él haría los coros de barítono, ja! Atentos!
So then, as the fairytale Aurora was engaged from birth with Prince Phillip, I was also engaged with a prince, but not my style, he´s not my prince in shinning armour that´s for sure. His name is Kieran. All sayed that he behaves like an english Lord, and that Kieran this and Kieran that, and I´m fed up! I don´t like to share my center stage. That´s annoy me. He can´t be more boring! Always Mr. Perfect, he doesn´t like mud or run under the sun, if I run besides him he scowls me, if I go near my owner also. If I wan´t to go further than Eloise and Dakota for exploring the garden he barks me, if I run too fast also. If I play with the cats he gets nuts. And he looked at me in a funny way, and he barks loud. But I don´t get scared at all, I bark him back, if we are going to be a couple he needs to know who´s going to wear pants here! The positive point is that we both bark preety good. I´ll say that we could be an opera couple. Like me the mezzo soprano star and he could be the baritone chorus, ha! Whatch up!


Lo mejor de vivir en esta casa es que hay muchas cosas divertidas para hacer, máscaras de barro, charcos de agua, unos platos enormes para refrescarse, plantas con muuuuchas ramitas para mascar, juguetes, gatos para corretear. Y lo mejor de todo es mi nueva amiga Dakota! Es mi ídola! Ella es la que me enseñó como bañarme en el plato del agua y como aprovechar el barro...lo que todavía no entiendo es porque me retan después de eso si sirve para la piel!
Best part of living in this house is that is plenty of funny things to do, mud face masks, water pudel, big water bowls for refreshing, plants with tons of sticks for chewing, cool toys, cats for chasing. ANd best of all, my new best buddy, Dakota! She is my idol! She teaches me how to get a proper bath inside te water bowl and how to make a good mud mask...the only thing I don´t quite get yet is why they scowl me after that if it´s good for skin!


Ah! Tengo una niñera, se ocupa de mí. Me da mi comida, y también me mima mucho. me enseño a sentarme, dar la pata, chocar los cinco y túnel. Ay si, soy super inteligente, si en la guardería ya me habían enseñado a venir cuando me silban! Yo duermo con ella, en su cuarto. Y cuando vienen sus amigas todas me miman. eso si que me gusta. Nací para ser el centro de atención!
Huh! I have a nanny too, she gets care of me. Give me my food and tickles me a lot, he taught me how to sit, give my hand, high five and go under her legs. Oh, yes, I´m super smart, even in my nursery they tought me how to come when they whistle me! I sleep in her room with her. ANd when her girl friends came to visit all pet me, oh yes I liked that a lot. I was born for being the focus point!


Me pusieron un almohadón gigante para que duerma. Me queda grande la cucha, pero me las ingenio para subirme con las ojotas de mi niñera, o sus medias, o algo que tenga su olor. Es que dormir sola no me gusta mucho. Y aunque haga capricho no me deja subir a su cama, que mal! Igual el almohadón es fantástico para usar de pelotero, mis juguetes rebotan fantástico y hacen ruiditos cuando caen al piso, los vuelvo a subir y no me canso del juego. Mi niñera si! Ella me reta, quiere dormir por que tiene que ir al colegio. Pone música para que me tranquilice. Pero no me gusta lo que escucha asi que le mastiqué todo el cable del I Pod mientras dormía. Después me dió culpa, porque a la mañana se puso triste y me retó...Estoy tratando de portarme mejor a la noche, pero soy inquieta y me cuesta.
They gave me a huge puff for sleeping. It´s a bit big, but I managed pretty well to jump up with my nanny´s flip flaps, or socks or whatever. I don´t like to sleep alone. Even if I made a scene she doesn´t allow me to climb in her bed, too bad! Anyway my bed is wonderful, fantastic for playing, my toys bound and when fall to the floor with a tingling noise I chase them and I never get tired of this game. My nanny yes! Fed up with that, so she puts some music for relaxing time. I don´t like the things that she hears so I chewed all the I Pod cable when she was asleep. Later I felt guilty, because she was sad in the morning and scolded me...I´m trying to behave better during night, but I´m a bundle of energy and is difficult for me to settle down.


Dakota, mi amiga, duerme con los mellis, a veces voy a su cuarto a visitarla y me comparte su camita, nos metemos las dos juntas y en secreto comemos lo que Dakus encuentra. Un pedacito de alfajor, algún caramelo, miguitas, es que estos chicos viven comiendo y son un poco descuidados. A Daks la dejan ver la TV y subir a sus camas. Estos tutores que le tocaron son más relajados.
Dakota, my best friend, sleeps with the twins, sometimes I go to her room for a visit, she shares with me her little bed, we snuggle together and in secret we eat whatever Dakus found. A little piece of muffin, some candy, bread crumbs, the boys are always eating and are a mess. Daks is allowed to watch TV and sleep in their beds. Her teachers are more relaxed than my nanny.


También me meto en el cuarto de mi dueña, donde duerme Eloise, que no comparte su cama y Kieran que no quiere que me acueste al lado, asi que termino metiéndome abajo de la cómoda con Úrsula y espió lo que hacen desde ahí. Cuando me aburro me asomo despacito y trato de que Júpiter me de bolilla. Al final con tal que me quede quietita Kieran me deja acostarme cerca suyo. Eso si, no me saca la vista de encima, ya les dije que me mira rarito?
I also go inside my masters bedroom, where Eloise sleeps, she doesn´t share her bed; and Kieran who diesn´t want me near our owner bed, so I end crouching myself under the chest where Ursula slept and I spy what they do from there.WhenI get bored I go slowly outside and try to get Jupiter´s attention. Finally Kieran let me sleep at his side if I remain still. But he stares at me in a funny way, I said that before?


Soy muy feliz viviendo acá, mi única queja es el nombre, me gustaría cambiarlo por Pocahontas, algo bien indio como el de mi amiga. Lo que no comprendo es porque cuando me retan me dicen Eslipibuty!!!
I´m really happy living here, my only complain is the name, I wish I can change it to Pocahontas, something really indian, like my friend. The only thing I don´t get is why every time they scold me they insist in calling me zlipibutt!!
